The best possible way to completely restore and refinish interior logs is to have the home empty. If this is not possible, rooms will be sealed off with heavy plastic and any duct work taped closed. Vent fans will help keep the dust to a minimum. Each area will be totally vacuumed before starting another area.

Most log homes are darker on the interior and sanding the logs down to bare wood will brighten up any room. Once the logs are completely sanded a coat of interior stain in a natural tone will keep the logs easy to maintain. No more snags on rough logs while cleaning dust off the logs.
